It’s no secret that the Double Century is one of our favourite events, so with the world as it is we’re gutted not to be able to attend this year. But, we’ve rallied the troops and we’ll be racing the entire 202km team time trial route virtually on RGT tomorrow morning anyway, setting off just after the official event starts. It’ll be the longest route ridden on RGT in one go, so wish us luck!
Not only are we riding 202km, indoors on turbo trainers but we’re also raising funds for the Buffalo Foundation to help support their academies in South Africa.

A Double Century veteran, known for his 2004 Paris-Roubaix win. He also was stage winner at the Tour de France. At 195cm tall and 95kg he was always the biggest guy in the pro peloton hence the nick name Big Maggy. He now runs a successful coaching business and has been around HotChillee since we can remember!

Long time Hotchillee Ride Captain. Raced everything from track to MTB. Living in the French Alps now with a love of the high mountains. He thought he was finished with racing (but apparently he’s not). Happy on the indoor trainer as he doesn’t really like riding in the rain.
A guy who likes any and all riding! Grew up racing MTB XC, transitioned to the road, raced a UCI 2.2 event once and have been enjoying exploring Europe since moving to London in 2018. Ride Captain for Hotchillee and lover of the cortado.
A normal guy who just likes to ride bikes. One to go out in all weathers (sun, rain, hail & even snow) come 2020 and coronavirus an indoor trainer was purchased. Now a converted indoor rider, only goes out when the sun is shining (southern softie). Highlight of his cycling career was representing GB at the World Gran fondo Championships in Italy, completed numerous Sportives in the UK & Europe.
Your classic Greek-South African living in the UK. Love coffee and riding bikes, stationary ones too! Long time Hotchillee member and Ride Captain since 2017. Aims to make a difference.
Got into riding 6 years ago and soon found a love for TT’s. Also can’t beat a week away in the French Alps! Now racing TT’s nationally with the highlight being 5th at last years CTT National closed circuit champs. Not a lover of the turbo but will beat the wet and cold any day!
Jack has been cycling with Hotchillee since school days and loves all things data. Believes that “Looking fast is more important than being fast”, and so is always on the look out for some sock doping or a new cap.
Hotchillee member turned Ride Captain Andy is always happiest on two wheels. Be it Road, Gravel, MTB as long as it means he get to ride a bike Andy will be raring to go. Busy spending most of his time running a business and juggling family life but he is always planning his next big adventure on the bike.
