Meet the Hotchillee team taking on the Virtual Double Century

It’s no secret that the Double Century is one of our favourite events, so with the world as it is we’re gutted not to be able to attend this year. But, we’ve rallied the troops and we’ll be racing the entire 202km team time trial route virtually on RGT tomorrow morning anyway, setting off just after the official event starts. It’ll be the longest route ridden on RGT in one go, so wish us luck!

Not only are we riding 202km, indoors on turbo trainers but we’re also raising funds for the Buffalo Foundation to help support their academies in South Africa.

Long time Hotchillee Ride Captain.  Raced everything from track to MTB.  Living in the French Alps now with a love of the high mountains.  He thought he was finished with racing (but apparently he’s not). Happy on the indoor trainer as he doesn’t really like riding in the rain.

Highlight of his cycling career was representing GB at the World Gran fondo Championships in Italy, completed numerous Sportives in the UK & Europe.
