In the week of the summer solstice make the most of the daylight hours and tackle what is arguably the toughest single-day event we’ve ever laid on.
The 135km distance with 1885m of ascent is challenge enough but, throw in the technical challenge of riding the country’s oldest road and you have a gravel adventure worthy of the most seasoned off-road aficionado.
As the sun rises you and your bike will be transported to the start line and then supported on this epic adventure by our most experienced Ride Captains, the Hotchillee Event Director and seasoned Hotchillee mechanic.
Riding from the stone circles of Avebury, Wiltshire to Ivinghoe Beacon in the Chilterns you’ll traverse chalk uplands, ride through ancient woodland and even skirt the PM’s back garden. Be in no doubt, that first sip of beer at Musette café as the solstice sun dips below the horizon will definitely be well earned.
Places are limited to 25 riders and open to Hotchillee Premium members only.
