The LONDON-PARIS by Tour de France finish

Rolling into Paris as one giant peloton with rolling closed roads is the highlight for most riders.

For those who’s friends and families are joining them at the finish they can welcome you at the finish line here:

Peloton arrival time: 16:35

Any changes to the finish location or time will be communicated via the Hotchillee companion app, so please make sure you have downloaded this.

Getting from the finish line to Le Meridien Etoile hotel

Bikes returning to the UK from the finish: It’s really important that your bike is put on the DHL trucks at the finish if you are not booked on the Tour de France experience, or traveling onwards from Paris. Once you’ve handed over your bike you will take a coach to the hotel.

Bikes staying in Paris for the Tour de France Experience / onward travel: If you are riding the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift course the following day, or traveling on from Paris then you must not put your bike on the DHL trucks. You will ride (15 mins) from the finish line to the hotel accompanied by the Hotchillee Ride Captains. All bikes will be stored and locked in a conference room on Saturday night. If you are keeping your bike in Paris from Sunday you will need to make arrangements directly with the hotel.

Celebration Presentation

The Celebration Presentation including the event highlights video will take place in the event hotel.

19:00 – 20:00 – Celebration Presentation, Meeting Room MAC MAHON

Dinner is at leisure with plenty of restaurants and bars in the area around the hotel. If you are in a large group you may want to book ahead. The hotel concierge will be able to assist: +33 1 40 68 34 34

The crew will be at the Canadian Embassy bar opposite the hotel from 21:30 for anyone wanting to join us.

Sunday (Tour de France)

Riding the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift course

The icing on the cake at this year’s LONDON-PARIS will be riding the Tour de France Femmes course on the Sunday morning. If you have booked this option then please read the below carefully.

You will need to wear your Hotchillee / Santini Tour de France Experience jersey or you will not be permitted to ride on the course. This will be given to you at Sign On.

10:00 – Meet the Hotchillee Ride Captains in front of our event hotel and ride in small escorted groups to the start line of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift course. It’s not far, but it’s essential that we follow an exact route, so you’ll need to be accompanied by a Hotchillee Ride Captain.

11:00 – 11:45 – Hotchillee riders will congregate in the women’s start area as the teams sign on. We’ll experience the pre-race buzz and feel what it’s like to cross the start line before we ride on closed roads through the center of Paris with an official Tour de France race escort.

11:45 – Arrive on Place du Concorde for photos at the foot of the Champs Elysees

12:00 – We ride back to the hotel. It’s important we follow a specific route so please accompany a Hotchillee Ride Captain. All bikes which are returning to the UK need to be loaded on the DHL trucks directly. It’s essential that all riders load these asap.

13:00 – DHL trucks depart with bikes for the UK.

Watching the Tour de France:

All LONDON-PARIS participants can watch the Tour de France from the side of the road. From the hotel it’s a 1.2km walk to the Arc de Triomphe, although you will probably find a quieter part of the route if you prefer not to get your elbows out!

13:30 : Start of the Tour de France Femmes Avec Zwift
15:30 : Expected finish of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift
16:16: TDF Caravane on the Champs Elysées
16:30: Start of the Tour de France last stage (La Défense)
18:15: Expected first lap on the Champs Elysées
19:34: Expected last lap on the Champs Elysées

Grandstand seating:

If you’ve booked the Tour de France Experience your invitation to the Gabrielle Grandstand seating will have been emailed to you directly by the Tour de France (ASO). This was sent yesterday. If you’ve not received it yet please check your spam.

You will need to open it and accept the invitation, then a confirmation email including a QR code will be sent to you. This email will also include where the seating is, when and how to access it.

The seating is approximately 3km from the hotel so walking will probably be the quickest way, as metro stations and road closures often make Paris really tricky to navigate.

VIP finish line hospitality:

If you have booked VIP Tour de France finish line hospitality you will not be sent a Grandstand invitation. You will have received an email inviting you to the Rive Gauche, which was emailed to you directly by the Tour de France (ASO) yesterday. If you’ve not received it yet please check your spam. You will need to open it and accept the invitation, then a confirmation email including a QR code will be sent to you. This email will also include where the hospitality is located, when and how to access it.

Eurostar Return packages:

If you have booked a return Eurostar package with us your ticket will be in your rider pack at Sign On. You will need to get yourself to the Gare du Nord.
