If you’ve been following HotChillee’s adventures for a while now, you’ll be well aware of our friends at Back Up!
For those who aren’t, it all began way back in 2012, when we welcomed Back Up trustee Danny Turnbull and a team of hand cyclists onto the HotChillee LONDON-PARIS for the first time. Sadly, Danny lost his battle with cancer in 2017, and since then we’ve shared the road with Back Up, raising funds in his memory many times, with challenges ranging from the 60 strong #NoLimits group riding the LONDON-PARIS in 2018 to HotChillee Ride Captain Juliette Clark’s epic 1800 km (on rollers!) #SpinalCircuit earlier this year!
We’re also proud to have partnered with Back Up and Stewarts for an annual Ride for Danny event, but with current events as they are, this year’s #NoLimits ride will take place virtually. You can ride either 50 or 100km, indoors or in your local area (respecting social distancing guidance of course) with the aim of raising £50 for Back Up Trust.
It’s free to enter, and all ages and abilities are welcome. For more information please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Glen is usually behind the scenes making sure that the Hotchillee Ride Captains and event participants have fully functioning bicycles to ride but he occasionally makes an appearance in front of the camera to share his wisdom. If he’s not fixing or building bikes he’ll be out riding in #SweetSussex. If you want to know anything about Cyclocross, Glen is the man to ask.
