HotChillee CC are welcoming members with a free 30 day trial which includes access to their new digital community platform. Faced with the challenge of not being able to hold multi-day events, a curtailment of their hugely popular group rides and a world without coffee stops, HotChillee have created a new virtual platform that allows their community to stay supported, in touch and engaged.
Spearheaded by a passionate events team, the focus at HotChillee has always been on delivering world class events that are fun and inclusive with camaraderie both on and off the bike. HotChillee CC members range from seasoned event veterans, complete novices, current World Tour riders, retired pros and renowned cycling experts. All are brought together on their new platform and, whether it’s a live pilates class, a virtual ride, baking competitions, mechanics’ Q&A or just a bit of banter – it’s a club-ride, club-house, café, pub, expert voice or simply a virtual arm around your shoulder.
Members can expect to chat with Ben Swift of Team Ineos, Team NTT World Tour rider Nic Dlamini, Ashleigh Moolman Pasio of Team CCC-Liv, Dan Craven (Dan from Nam!), Songezo Jim formerly of Team MTN-Qhubeka, Magnus Backstedt the 2004 winner Paris-Roubaix, Brian Smith former Team Motorola and Lance Armstrong teammate, now Grand Tour TV pundit on Eurosport, Paul Sinton-Hewitt founder of parkrun, YouTube vlogger Francis Cade, and Sigma Sports co-founder Ian Whittingham. Former HotChillee CC members include Tour de France winner Geraint Thomas.
The new platform has been developed by the team at Rainmaker and gives members access to a packed calendar each week, with virtual rides and races, live pilates sessions, “ask the mechanic” tutorials, webinars, socials and expert knowledge on nutrition, mindfulness, meditation, training and lots more. There are also discounts on products and events, and the platform continues to expand giving members direct access to HotChillee’s extended community of partners and suppliers.
As lockdown restrictions are eased and group riding becomes possible again, the platform will continue as the information centre for all HotChillee CC rides and events, while still maintaining the online support, guidance and resources available to the global HotChillee CC community.

Nic Dlamini, HotChillee CC member and NTT World Tour Rider:“I’ve been a member of the HotChillee family for many years and this is a great way to stay in touch.”
Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio, CCC Liv World Tour Rider and HotChillee CC member:“After riding the Rainmaker RollerCoaster with HotChillee last year this is a great way to stay in touch with my fellow riders, arrange Meet Ups on Zwift and stay up to date with all the HotChillee goings on.”
Paul Sinton-Hewitt, founder of parkrun and HotChillee CC member:“As a relative newbie to cycling and HotChillee I have been overwhelmed by the warmth and friendliness of the community. Their community hub provides nearly everything that we need to stay in touch, socialise and stay fit and healthy.”
Sven Thiele, CEO, HotChillee:“Since setting up the platform it’s been amazing, heartwarming and uplifting to see how our community has engaged with, adapted to and thrived in this new virtual world. Just by logging in you feel connected, supported and part of something bigger. We’d love to take this opportunity to reach out to frontline NHS staff to join the HotChillee CC community free of charge and, whether cyclists or not, find support both physical and mental that’ll hopefully help in some small way to continue performing their essential work. In the space of a week this has become the app that I log onto first thing every morning.”
