Last week saw the 4th edition of the Cyclosport Industry Ride and Lunch take place. This annual event is aimed at the cycling event industry insiders to get together at the end of the busy season to review and strategise for the following year. Cyclosport.org is the largest and most definitive cycle events listings web site in the world and was founded in 2003.
HotChillee has supported this event as a sponsor for the past 4 years providing funding, event management support as well as the Ride Captains in managing the 170 person morning ride.
The event’s Top Tier sponsor was Sigma Sport, who this year celebrate 21 years of supporting cycling in Britain through events, teams and racing. Wattbike were there for their second year. Rouleur Magazine and LeMarq clothing were there in their first sponsorship year.
This years Outstanding Contribution Award went to Ride London and was handed over by Ian Whittingham, co-founder of Sigma Sport to Mick Bennett on behalf on the London & Surrey Cycle Partnership.
