Later this week, the Hotchillee Ride Captains head up to Glasgow for the last in a series of night rides, hosted by OVO Energy. Through these rides OVO Energy aim to promote cycling in city centres as a green, sustainable form of transport, while championing women in the sport and encouraging more ladies to get on their bikes and ride!

Kerry is a fluent Gaidhlig speaker from the Outer Hebrides but now living in Stirling. She’s a trail shredding cross country mountain biker who competed at Glasgow 2014 and races across Europe. She’s the current Scottish Champion and Vice British Champion. She’s a big lover of the Scottish outdoors, loves any form of cycling, exploring new routes and trails and most especially the cake stop at the end.
A double silver medalist at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games on the tandem with Aileen McGlynn (Louise & Aileen actually won Scotland’s first medal of the games!). They then went on to be 2017 British gold medalists in the F200 and silver in the kilo, again on the tandem. 2018 bought World Championship silver in the kilo and bronze in the sprint (tandem), and bronze in Goldcoast in the kilo and sprint (tandem).
Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Silver Medalist in the Team Sprint, Charline went on to compete at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games in the Scratch and Points race on the track and the Road Race round Glasgow’s City centre in a support role to Katie Archibald. In 2018 she joined the Team Barbados as a coach for their only track rider Amber Joseph at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. Currently living in Glasgow, she runs her own fitness business Dynamique Fitness through the online at home training Programmes Three Hiit Wonder and Three Hiit Wonder Cycling, teaching professional sports teams yoga, mobility and meditation.

Glen is usually behind the scenes making sure that the Hotchillee Ride Captains and event participants have fully functioning bicycles to ride but he occasionally makes an appearance in front of the camera to share his wisdom. If he’s not fixing or building bikes he’ll be out riding in #SweetSussex. If you want to know anything about Cyclocross, Glen is the man to ask.
Consultant with British Cycling and author of the Road Cycling Performance Manual. Lover of cobbles, gravel and Siberian Pine – not so keen on climbs! Nik is the author of all of the Hotchillee Training Plans, Zwift workout files and regularly posts tips and advice on the Hotchillee app. He’s also the evil genius behind the now infamous Hotchillee Gain Train.
Adele has worked within the health and fitness industry for over 25 years starting with a ballet and dance background herself, she has progressed to training and teaching all styles of fitness and offers Pilates, barre & yoga. As a keen runner, Adele appreciates the need for a strong healthy body and mind and incorporates many elements of Pilates, yoga and barre into her own training to ensure her strength and stamina remain.
