Celebrate your epic 500km LONDON-PARIS journey by watching the Tour de France pros race the iconic laps of the Champs-Élysées the day after you arrive in Paris.
Here are some top tips for watching the Tour de France:
1. Check out the Tour de France Stage schedule in advance.
2. From quite early on that day some Metro stations will be closed. Check your route before you travel.
3. Get your spot early (especially if you’re short!). The Champs-Élysées will be crowded. If you prefer a quieter spot you can walk down to the section of the route that goes around the Jardin des Tuileries.
4. There are few points to cross from one side of the circuit to the other, so don’t get ‘stuck’ on one side if you need to get back to the other in a hurry.
5. Enjoy yourself!
